I still remember examples of his wonderful humour spme of which I have quoted to others recently. One such was whilst he was trying to study at university and disturbed by a loud guide under his window. He opened his window and shouted “cor stow it in Georgina girl you’re giving me the screaming hab dabs”.

Then there were the wonderful stories as a school teacher and the wonderful comments from his eccentric colleague Mr Ashbury. “He he you clown”, “we’ve the best backs of moon” etc etc
